Yesterday's Students, Today's Leaders
Whether pursuing degrees in leading philosophy programs and at top law schools or working in universities, government, or business, CSUF Philosophy Alumni put their philosophical training to use in a variety of careers and institutions.
Our alumni have won prestigious national graduate fellowships, have served as interns in Congress and as fellows in the State Legislature, have been admitted to leading Philosophy programs and law schools, and--just as often--have pursued successful careers as teachers and business professionals.
The Department maintains two active Alumni Associations.
- The Alumni Club invites participation from all our past students. It meets regularly and explores a wide variety of topics. Alumni also participate in the Annual Philosophy Symposium as speakers, panelists, and respondents. See the Alumni Group page for contact information.
- The newly formed, as of 2021, Philosophy Alumni Associated for Diverse Students aims to help current CSUF philosophy students navigate the university system and help alumni achieve career success. See the PAADS page for more information.
